Getting Started

The fastest way to succeed with StayLogged is to keep the first setup narrow: install the extension, sign in on the browsers you actually use, and begin with a small set of trusted domains.

Step 1: Install the Extension

Open the download flow and choose the browser you want to start with.

• Install the extension in your primary browser first.
• Repeat on the second browser only after the first setup succeeds.
• Use the same StayLogged account across participating browsers.

Step 2: Configure Sync Rules

Start with explicit scope. Syncing everything by default is the wrong default for most users.

• Prefer whitelist mode for initial setup.
• Add only a few trusted domains first.
• Leave high-risk accounts local until you are comfortable with the workflow.

Step 3: Verify the Workflow

1. Log in to a test site in browser A.
2. Wait for sync to complete.
3. Open the same site in browser B and confirm the session is available.
4. Review sync status and device participation if the result is not what you expected.

Step 4: Expand Carefully

Once the initial setup is stable, expand the list of synced domains and devices gradually. This makes troubleshooting easier and reduces the chance of syncing accounts you did not intend to include.
