StayLogged works best on current versions of Chrome and Firefox, with support for Edge, Brave, Firefox for Android, and many other Chromium-based browsers.
Support Matrix
Choose Chrome or Firefox for the most direct setup path. Edge and Brave are also supported, and many Chromium-based browsers can work with the same extension flow.

Best choice for most users. StayLogged is designed to work smoothly on current desktop Chrome.
Microsoft Edge
Desktop
Edge follows the same Chromium extension model as Chrome and supports the main StayLogged workflow.
Mozilla Firefox
Desktop
A fully supported option for users who want the same core sync and backup flow outside Chromium browsers.
Firefox for Android
Android
Use Firefox for Android when your device and browser version support the required extension features.
Brave
Desktop
Brave is Chromium-based and generally works the same way as Chrome for extension installation and cookie access.
Other Chromium Browsers
Desktop
Browsers such as Opera, Vivaldi, and Arc may work when they support Chromium extensions and the required permissions.
Desktop Browsers
- Chrome 116+ and Firefox 140+ are the best-supported desktop browsers.
- Edge and Brave are supported and usually follow the same setup path as Chrome.
- Opera, Vivaldi, and Arc may also work when Chromium extension support is available.
- If you are choosing a browser from scratch, Chrome or Firefox is the safest recommendation.
Mobile Browsers
- Firefox for Android 142+ is supported on devices where the required extension features are available.
- Mobile browser support is narrower than desktop support because extension support varies by platform.
- Chrome on Android, Edge on Android, and iPhone browsers should not be treated as supported extension targets here.
- When possible, complete your first setup on desktop before adding a mobile browser.

For the clearest setup path, start with Chrome or Firefox on desktop. These are the browsers we recommend first for everyday use.
Firefox for Android is available on supported versions
Firefox for Android can be part of your setup when your device supports the required browser version and extension capabilities.
Other Chromium browsers may work
Opera, Vivaldi, Arc, and similar browsers often work, but support can vary with their extension policies and release channels.
Safari is not currently supported
StayLogged does not currently provide a Safari version, so Safari on macOS and iPhone should not be treated as supported for extension-based session sync.
What this means for you
If you want the smoothest experience, start with Chrome or Firefox on desktop. Those browsers are the best place to set up sync, confirm permissions, and verify that your session workflow is working.
After that, you can extend your setup to Edge, Brave, Firefox for Android, or another compatible Chromium browser when that browser is part of your real workflow.
