Account Deletion

Last updated: April 1, 2026

This page explains how StayLogged users can request account deletion and what to do before removing the extension from their browsers.

How to Request Deletion

  1. Send an email to support@staylogged.com from the address or contact channel associated with your StayLogged account if available.
  2. Include enough information for us to identify the account, such as your account name and any relevant device or support context.
  3. Use the subject line Account Deletion Request to speed up handling.

What to Do Before Requesting Deletion

  • Disable any sync rules you no longer want running.
  • Revoke devices you no longer trust.
  • Remove any cloud backups or cloud store slots you no longer want associated with the account if those controls are available in the extension.
  • After deletion is complete, remove the extension from browsers you no longer want to keep connected.

What Account Deletion Covers

When a deletion request is fulfilled, StayLogged will delete, disable, or disassociate the account and related service-side records needed to stop further use of the service for that account. This can include account records, device associations, active sessions, cloud backup records, cloud sync slot records, and related operational records, subject to technical and legal retention requirements.

What Is Not Automatically Removed from Your Browser

  • Removing the account on the service side does not automatically uninstall the extension from your browser.
  • It may not automatically remove local browser cookies that were previously restored into your browser.
  • It may not automatically erase every local extension database record until you remove the extension or clear its local storage on that browser.

Support and Alternate Contact Path

If email is unavailable, you can open an issue through the public repository at GitHub Issues, but do not post sensitive account or browser session details in a public issue.
