Terms of Service
Last updated: April 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of the StayLogged website, the StayLogged browser extension, and the related services used for account authentication, encrypted browser cookie backup, restore, and sync.
Use of the Service
StayLogged is provided to help users manage and synchronize browser login state across browsers and devices they are authorized to control. By using the service, you agree to use it only for lawful and authorized purposes.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the accounts, devices, browsers, and websites for which you enable StayLogged. You are also responsible for complying with the terms of the websites whose sessions you back up, restore, or synchronize.
Acceptable Use
- Use StayLogged only for browser sessions and accounts you are authorized to access.
- Do not use StayLogged to obtain unauthorized access to another person's account, device, or service.
- Do not use StayLogged for credential theft, malware delivery, abusive automation, or attempts to bypass third-party security controls.
- Do not interfere with the availability, integrity, or security of StayLogged or its supporting infrastructure.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices, local extension environment, and account credentials. If you believe a device or account has been compromised, you should revoke devices, disable sync, rotate credentials, and contact support.
Your Data
Browser cookies and related session data can be highly sensitive. You remain responsible for deciding which domains to include in backups and sync rules, and for understanding the consequences of moving login state between browsers or devices.
Service Changes and Availability
StayLogged may change over time. Features, supported browsers, pricing, and service limits may be added, changed, limited, or removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every feature at all times.
Open Source Components
Portions of StayLogged may be released under open source licenses. Those components remain subject to their applicable open source licenses in addition to these terms where relevant.
Suspension and Termination
StayLogged may suspend or terminate access to the service if there is abuse, illegal use, security risk, repeated violation of these terms, or behavior that materially harms the service or other users.
Disclaimer
StayLogged is provided on an as-available and as-is basis. While the service is built with security and operational care, no software can guarantee perfect compatibility, uninterrupted availability, or complete immunity from defects or external security events.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StayLogged is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of access, account interruption, service incompatibility, or data loss caused by third-party systems or user actions.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated as the product, law, or business operations change. Continued use of StayLogged after an update means you accept the revised terms.
